Çimentaş Education and Health Foundation promotes educational projects especially in Izmir and regions where Çimentaş operates by collaborating with the Governor’s Office as well as the Directorates of National Education.

In 1996, our foundation started the construction of Işıkkent School (IEK) on an area of 28.902 square meters in Işıklar, Bornova. Since its establishment in 1998, Işıkkent School has been offering K-12 education that starts with the ELC and finishes at the end of the HS.

Besides, our foundation supports the educational projects (symposiums, seminars etc.) which are held in collaboration with IEK.

The foundation also provides scholarships for successful students who study at IEK but have socioeconomic disadvantages.

Along with the project of IEK, Çimentaş Education and Health Foundation offers non-refundable scholarships to nearly 80 higher education students, who are related to the community members or have reference from them; and supports various institutions and individuals in terms of education and health based on the budget limitations.
