COMMITTEES
For Çimentaş Education and Health Foundation, the main area of focus is to help the Turkish nation progress towards the level of modern civilizations in terms of education and health while providing financial and moral support for any kind of initiative that addresses the solution of relevant issues.
Such organizations are planned, designed and carried out through the committees formed within the body of the foundation. 5 committees have been formed to achieve this goal:
Members of the Communications and Public Relations Committee
Chairman: Bülent AKGERMAN
Members: Temel Aycan ŞEN, Sıtkı ŞÜKÜRER
Roles & Responsibilities: The Communications and Public Relations Committee defines and manages for ÇESVAK’s understanding on the needs and mechanisms for communication of an integrated marketing and communication plan, and implements the ÇESVAK and School Stakeholder Database.
Members of the Development Committee
Chairman: Celal Hasan UMUR
Members: Seyda AKDURAK, Sıtkı ŞÜKÜRER, Temel Aycan ŞEN, Okan SEZER
Roles & Responsibilities: The Development Committee evaluates, develops and manages sponsorship programs and additional revenue generating activities; assesses and develops strategies for value creation through foundation owned/dedicated assets; and obtains grants, conducts programs and delivers results.

Roles & Responsibilities: The Education Committee oversees the ongoing development of the mission, vision, strategic plan, accreditation process, and educational policies of the school and communicates them to the board members.

Roles & Responsibilities: The Finance Committee oversees all financial issues concerning the Board and Işıkkent School, and communicates them to the board members.

Roles & Responsibilities: The Scholarship and Financial Aid Committee oversees the school’s scholarship and financial aid programs in collaboration with the Foundation and the Head of School, and communicates them to the board members.
Human Resources Committee
Chairman: Melek ÖZEN

Roles & Responsibilities: This committee facilitates closer collaboration with the school administration in dealing with HR matters such as talent management, reviewing and updating the HR process.
