Bülent AKGERMAN  

Born in Izmir in 1969, Akgerman graduated from Robert College in Istanbul and has a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Management from Bilkent University, Ankara. Akgerman started his career in 1989 at Çimentaş Turistik İşl. Yatırım San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (Çittur). Then, he was assigned as the General Manager of Çimstone Doğal Kompoze Taş İşletmeleri in 1998.
Currently, he is the Chairman of AKG Yalıtım İnşaat Malzemeleri San. ve Tic. A.Ş (Çimstone) and More Ticaret A.Ş. and AKG Trading Ltd. (USA and United Kingdom); Vice Chairman of AKG Gazbeton İşletmeleri San. ve Tic. A.Ş. and Ertuğ Balık Üretim Tesisi Gıda ve Tarım İşl. San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (More Aquaculture). Akgerman also holds positions as Vice Chairman of Rekmar Advertising and Urla Winery.
Akgerman is the former Chairman of ESIAD, former Board Member TUSIAD, Former Vice Chairman of TURKONFED, Former Chairman of SEDEFED, Former Chairman of EGIAD, former Chairman of the Advisory Board of AIESEC Izmir. Besides, he is the Honorary Consul of Ireland for the Aegean Region.
He is also the former Chairman of the Board of Engineered Stone Manufacturers Association (A.St.A.), Vice Chairman of the Board of Turkish American Business Association (TABA – AmCham), Board Member of Camera di Commercio Italiana di Izmir, Aegean Forest Foundation and UNICEF. He is the Vice Chairman of the Board of ÇESVAK and the Senator of Junior Chamber International (JCI). He was awarded with the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
Bülent Akgerman, who has been serving as a board member of ÇESVAK since 2003, has one child studying at IEK.
