Taha AKSOY

Our Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Taha Aksoy, graduated from the Department of Civil Engineering at Middle East Technical University (METU) and completed his master’s degree in the same department. He served as an Assistant and a member of the Academic Council at METU, as a Research Assistant at the Technical University of Munich, and as a Lecturer at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. He worked as a senior executive in various sectors. He served as the General Coordinator of the 2005 İzmir 23rd Summer Universiade and the 2013 Mersin Mediterranean Games. He was a Member of Parliament for İzmir in the 23rd term and a member of the Turkey-EU Joint Parliamentary Committee. Fluent in English and German, Aksoy currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Çimentaş Türk A.Ş.
